I take many photos. I’m not a photographer but images attract me. I also like to keep pictures for posterity. I often find myself poring over images, recollecting, and finding creative ideas. Even though life happens and do much more evolves daily, weekly, here are a few snippets of my collection. I have so much more.
The Queen of Soul -Aretha Franklin

Aretha is one true legend, a trail blazer who fought for civil rights for African Americans, even while being an entertainer. She was the definition of a hero. May she rest in eternal peace.
Kofi Annon- The Commander
I considered this gentle man such a powerful force. Another hero of mine. It was sad to see him leave us so soon. But may our late United Nation Secretary General, Ghanaian, Nobel Peace Recipient rest in eternal peace.

previous post** #theculturespeaks via @staywoke.tv – A high school principal in New Jersey is going above and beyond to make sure his students don’t skip school out of fear of being bullied. West Side High School Principal Akbar Cook said some students were being bullied because of their dirty clothes — which resulted in chronic absenteeism where they would miss three to five days a month.
